No publication date in book, possibly 1930s due to inscription. The novel is based on events occurring in the Ohio River Valley in the late eighteenth century and features the exploits of Lewis Wetzel, a historical person who dedicated his life to destroying Native Americans and protecting white settlements in that region. Dust cover is worn due to handling and age, please see pictures. Red decorative cover, light fading on front cover, see picture. Black lettering on spine. Minimal bumping to corners, some wear to top/bottom of spine. No writings or marking on pages just inscription on first page. Tanning of pages and some foxing. Intact/stable spine, no missing pages. A good copy considering the age and use of book.
